The Kanesatake Tsi Shakotiio’tenhseraienwá:se Employment and Training Service Center held our 2024 Career Fair on January 25^th. We had an amazing turnout of schools like Vanier, John Abbott, Construc-Plus, Rosemount Technology and more.

We had a mix of local and non-local employers with fantastic job opportunities for all, moccasin Joe coffee, Onen’to:kon Healing Lodge, Okaply, Oka Parc, Kanesatake’s Economic Development and much much more.

Our local Radio station RKR had some of their multi-media class try out some equipment and record a station ID and some did the weather! How awesome is that!!

On behalf of the KETSC team, I would like to give a big shout out to Esther Nelson and her team for her amazing decorations and set-up of the gym, to the Ratihente school for letting us use the gym and allowing the students to participate in the career fair. To all the schools and employers who made the trip to Kanehsatake in not the greatest weather, we appreciate all of you.  

A big Nia:we’kowa to everyone who stopped by to come say hi and have a look around and take advantage of having all schools and employers under one roof! It was a great success, and we are proud to be able to hold events like this in our community and looking forward to making it better next time!
