Alison Joannette

 

KETSC supported Alison Joannette with vocational training funding. She attended Performance Plus Lachute and took the course Santé assistance et soins infirmier.

She is presently employed at the Elders Home here in the community as Infirmière auxillaire.

Erica Lepage

 Congratulation Erica!

She successfully completed her Welding and Fitting training with CSSMI-SWLSB in St-Eustache. Supported by KETSC & SA. She also obtained her high school equivalency at the Kanesatake Satellite Adult Education. Erica did not have any wheels at the time and took the Oka-Express to travel to school. A non-traditional occupation for women, she demonstrated that it can be done. Good luck on your new endeavours. If you need a welder contact Erica!

Cassidy Beaupré

 

Through KETSC she was able to connect with Air Canada, apply and successfully pass the training. Air Canada is a company that is always looking to hire Indigenous people. Go to Air Canada website and check out their job offers.

Vanessa Richards

 

KETSC helped Vanessa Richards by funding her vocational studies. She took Secretarial Studies at the Nova Career Center. She is now employed at First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Quebec (FNHRDCQ) as an Administrative Assistant.

Congratulation Louanne Cataford! She graduated from Rosemount Technology Center in the Printing program. We are proud of you!

 

Shyann Nelson-Baker

 KETSC helped her obtain a Diploma in Multimedia Graphic Design and Web Design.

KETSC financially supported Shyann in an employability work measure with the Kanesatake Health Center inc. During this measure she trained in IT Essentials with FNEC developing her IT managing skills and developed the Kanesatake Health Center website.
