The Special Education Technician/Behavior Technician will provide direct academic support and behavioural intervention to students with special needs attending the Kanesatake schools under the supervision of the Special Education Coordinator.

Tourism Development Officer

Under the authority of the Mohawk Council of Kanesatake (MCK) and the direct supervision of the Tourism Project Manager, the Tourism Development Officer is responsible for the development of the Mohawk cultural tourism in the Laurentian region and understanding how to position it. Following an initiative of a strategic plan conducted by the MCK’s business and economic development in 2019 as well as the inherent action plan, the Tourism Development Officer works in collaboration with the tourism team and shares various challenges with the Tourism Project Manager in Aboriginal cultural tourism.

Student Services Program Officer

Under the authority of the Mohawk Council of Kanesatake and direct supervision of the Director of Education or delegated authority, the Student Services Program Officer provides administrative support to the Kanesatake Education Center (KEC) for the post-secondary program along with the elementary and secondary school level programs. The Student Services Program Officer is responsible for providing academic advisory to post-secondary students and providing support to elementary and high school students who could benefit from the KEC services. This role will assume responsibility of the School Organization and Transportation Coordinator once position is vacant.
