The pre-employability officer’s role is to support the indigenous clientele furthest from the labour market in its social and professional integration process. To this end, they develop intervention strategies adapted to the situation of their clientele. They assess needs, identify potential obstacles, and provide the tools, resources and follow-up required to ensure the success of their mission.

The follow-up officer works in partnership with all local stakeholders to follow up with participants in the employability and/or training measures of the FNHRDCQ. They act as a contact person and as a motivator and follow up on visits with participants, promoters, training centre staff and employers. They also prepare and verify required documents and facilitate the flow of information between the participants and various stakeholders.

The Coordination Officer is responsible for implementing the Abitibi-Témiscamingue’s FNI Regional Joint Committee Action Plan. To this end, the incumbent the partnerships necessary, communicates information with the members of the Joint Committee and mobilizes the committee members and partners. The incumbent works closely with Indigenous and governmental stakeholders and regularly visits the Joint Committee members to understand the region’s realities better.
